Fully custom figures can be commissioned of anyone. Cheaper than the $2- 5K manufacturers will charge to make molds and action figures from photos... and higher quality than the plastic, plate-seam-ridden $5 toy the molds would produce. Cake toppers, family pets, gifts, vanity figures, prototypes, trophies, promotional figures, chess piece sets, famous people. In order to cut cost, some of these figures are non-posable and/or very small.
