Materials: recycled clock motor, acrylic painted revolving cylinder, wood & plastic housing
This is the first interactive, motorized piece I’ve made in a long time, and it was an absolute blast. I always get headaches engineering kinetic pieces, especially involving electricity. I love the challenge. This was designed to incorporate with the landscape show in Seattle, and depicts a simplified continuous scene of the Seattle landscape as it’s changed over time.

Materials: ceramic
The Charles Manson Delft bust and “Toby mug” are a collaborative project with Charles Krafft. I sculpted the bust of Manson, and Krafft is firing and glazing the editions in his style. We’re developing this into a ceramic series of bizarre historical portraits as a sort of set of kitsch-style objects. Ceramic character mugs are famous in England, Charlie and I will likely continue doing Toby mugs in a series of evil and strange icons tentatively titled “Mean Mugs”. The ceramic editions are available to purchase with an order form by clicking the images below. Please feel free to email me any questions using the message form at the bottom of this page.
